Working in the aviation sector has many advantages, including year-round, low-cost, if not free travel. Our AMT program is a two-year FAA-approved program. You'll learn about every system on an airplane, including the electrical, structural, fuel, environmental, landing gear, and powerplants. Our AMT department has a pass rate of greater than 90% on the FAA written tests. FAA credentials can also be used for jobs in the utility industry. In the aviation business, there is currently a scarcity of maintenance technicians. Our instructors will assist you with job placement in addition to academic teaching.
Chaffey College's Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) Program is an FAA Part 147 training facility. We are one of around 170 schools in the United States. To keep their Part 147 certificate, the AMT department and professors are audited on an annual basis.
