Students at Mt. SAC can obtain the entire college experience without incurring the hefty college debt. We provide our students with the assistance and outstanding education they require to thrive in new careers, gain admission to top-tier universities, or grow in their existing field. We provide over 260 degree and certificate programs, 25 support programs, and 50 student clubs and athletic programs. Mt. SAC is a Finest Ten California Transfer College and one of the nation's top degree-granting community institutions. Through collaborations with colleges, we offer provide affordable career training education and accelerated bachelor's degree programs (typically with reduced tuition).
Mt. San Antonio College, with classes starting at $46 a unit, provides a high-quality education for much less than UC, CSU, and private universities. Students can save tens of thousands of dollars by beginning their education at Mt. SAC and then transferring to a four-year university or using their degree or certificate to obtain a well-paying employment. Mt. SAC provides:

The same general education classes for one-tenth the price (90 percent less than) UC schools

For California citizens, classes cost only $46 per unit. Full-time attendance at Mt. SAC costs about $1,400 per year on average. Thanks to the Promise Grant, nearly 75 percent of our students receive financial aid and pay next to nothing to attend. Mt. SAC is the finest alternative for an affordable education because of its multiple offerings. Approximately three out of every four students receive financial aid and pay next to nothing to attend. Furthermore, the majority of students are eligible for the California Community College California College Promise Grant (BOGW), which waives the registration fee and reduces the cost of health and parking fees for qualified California students. Every year, we award more than $200,000 in scholarships to students.
The Promise + Plus program is a mix of services designed for first-time college students to help them access the life-changing benefits of a college degree. We assist students in applying for financial aid and completing the FAFSA or California Dream Act Application in order to be eligible for an enrollment fee waiver. 75 percent of our students do not have to pay class enrollment fees. Promise + Plus students are also eligible for incredible advantages such as a $250 book stipend, a $100 food card, a loaner laptop, Mountie gear, and MORE!
This program satisfies the standards of the FAA's Air Traffic Collegiate Training Initiative (AT-CTI). This CTI program trains students for broad-based aviation employment through an educational collaboration arrangement with the FAA. Students who complete this CTI program may be recommended by the college for employment as air traffic controllers by the FAA. There are no requirements or restrictions on enrollment.
The Commercial Flight curriculum prepares students for jobs as aircraft pilots and other aviation-related ground occupations. Students might choose to participate in optional flight training for college credit. Although a pilot license is not necessary for graduation, it is advantageous for career growth.
