The Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) credential will enable you to install, develop, diagnose, and maintain multimillion-dollar equipment and systems that power America's transportation, energy, and defense manufacturers. This FAA certificate has a high monetary value. In reality, it is required for the majority of aircraft maintenance roles. As a result, our federally authorized program is available at our Aviation Training Institute (ATI) and is included in all Vaughn maintenance-based bachelor and associate degree programs. This certificate can be achieved in as little as 16 months and requires the same length of time as a student enrolled in the ATI.
Airframe and powerplant certification are required as part of the degree and certificate programs in maintenance. The Aviation Training Institute provides all airframe and powerplant courses required for certification (ATI).
